We may collect account details, sign-in email, optional profile fields, notification email, symptom logs, trigger events, uploaded records, OCR text, AI chat prompts, generated reports, usage events, consent preferences, and payment status.

Health-related notes and uploaded records can be sensitive. You choose what to enter, and you should avoid uploading information about other people unless you have permission.

We use data to operate your private workspace, sync your account, generate summaries and reports, process OCR and AI requests, maintain subscription status and credits, prevent abuse, improve product safety, and respond to support requests.

If you choose to allow research use, we may use de-identified or aggregated information to understand POIS patterns. Refusing research use does not block normal product access.

We use service providers to host the app, store account data, process payments, deliver emails, run analytics, and provide AI/OCR or infrastructure functions. These may include Vercel, Supabase, Creem, Resend, analytics tools, and AI model providers configured for the product.

Payment card details are handled by Creem or its payment partners. POIS Compass stores payment status, product, customer, subscription, and transaction references rather than full card numbers.

When you use AI features, relevant prompts, records, or context snippets may be sent to configured AI providers so they can return summaries, explanations, or reports.

We try to send only the context needed for the requested feature. Do not enter emergency information or data you do not want processed by AI services.

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for login sessions, language preference, product analytics, abuse prevention, and performance monitoring.

We use account separation, access controls, transport encryption, and operational monitoring to protect private workspace data, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.

We keep account and workspace data while your account is active or as needed for product operation, legal, security, billing, backup, and dispute-resolution purposes.

You may request access, correction, export, deletion, or withdrawal of optional research consent by using account settings where available or emailing support.

POIS Compass is not intended for children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Because our providers may operate in multiple countries, data may be processed outside your country or region. We rely on provider safeguards and limit access based on product need.
